In Raleigh, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across North Carolina on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Raleigh is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Reading the reviews made me nervous, especially with some of the ownerβs responses lol. I took a chance because I love pizza, but Iβm also very picky. So keeping that in mind, I was not a fan of the pizza. I was hoping for more of an Italian/New York style in a HUGE pie lol. I was ok with the price for the size. I could barely fit the box in my backseat! Im still leaving 5 stars because of the customer service, which is hard to come by nowadays. Many said the customer service was lacking, but the pizza was great. For me, it was the opposite. To me, the pizza wasnβt good, I simply didnβt like the taste.. but thats just my preference. However, from calling to order> pickup, I got nothing but excellent customer service. The young lady who took my order was very nice and accommodating. I called ahead while on the way, thinking it would take longer to be ready. When she heard my hesitation due to heavy rain/traffic, she offered to delay putting my order thru so my pizza wouldnβt be sitting. The lady who took my order (wish I got her name) assured me the pizza hadnβt been waiting on me for too long when I arrived. Also, when I got there, Jason (according to my receipt) was very nice and

Walked in just for a quick bite to eat after walking up and down the street in Raleigh and just kind of winging it. I thought the prices were crazy until I realized you literally get like a whole pizza when you order a slice. Ordered 3 pieces and the crust was phenomenal. Sauce and toppings were pretty good but the crispy crust and texture of the dough was amazing. Especially for the price of the Italian sausage ($6.00), hard to beat. Will be back for sure if im ever feeling pizza in Raleigh.

If you want a greasy, huge slice of pizza after a day/night drinking, this is the spot to go. Itβs nothing fancy, so donβt except a clean and quiet date night spot, but it hits the spot and is fairly priced for what you get.

So good! Pizza slices are huge chees $5 per slice and Pepperoni 6 they have others as well but cheese is my go to. So happy the crust wasn't burnt. Posted two pics one shows pizza to hand ratio.

Worst customer service of my life! Absolutely the WORST. Stopped in after the opera for a slice, as is traditionβ¦the kid at the front was SO rude and sarcastic, which is saying a whole lot as a New Yorker. It is a shame really, because the pizza is decent. Their whole schtick is the size of the slice, and do not get me wrong, they are big. But big does not always mean better. They do a good job on imitating the original. The sauce and dough are a bit bland but I would say decent. The horrible attitude from the kid ruined it all for us. We will never go back.
